Lockdown Open Up

Tuesdays 4pm-5.30pm - 6 weeks

Creativity, Mindfulness & Self Care. Open to all 42nd Street YPs 13-25, any area. YPs will: explore creativity for wellbeing, receive an art box of materials, try out different types of art and writing exercises, learn about self care, mindfulness and the ways to wellbeing, connect with others in a friendly, supportive environment, create their own personal self care resource/box.

A peer support group with social, therapeutic and creative elements for young women aged 16-25. 

Q42

Queer culture meets wellbeing peer support in a weekly group for LGBTQ+ people aged 13-18. 

The Q42 Book Club reads LGBTQ+ stories by LGBTQ+ authors about LGBTQ+ characters for LGBTQ+ readers at a relaxed pace and in an affirming space. 

A peer support group for Care Leavers aged 16-25 with a focus on completing research into how mental health services could be improved.

A space for young people aged 13-25 to get together and explore different ways of expressing themselves, through movement. 

18-24 This group is designed to help young people who have long standing difficulties with their feelings and relationships.

A way to connect with each other during the Covid-19 restrictions

It works by using the principles of a democratic therapeutic community.
