What is The Future is Ours Festival?

The Future Is Ours Festival showcases young people’s art, creativity and voice. Featuring original artworks, events, exhibition and performances, the festival celebrates the creative expression of young people in Greater Manchester.

This is our second year running The Future Is Ours Festival. Between 22 and 29 October 2021 young people’s art will take over The Horsfall gallery, spaces in Ancoats and billboards of Manchester. See the full programme below…

A peer support group with social, therapeutic and creative elements for young women aged 16-25. 


Queer culture meets wellbeing peer support in a weekly group for LGBTQ+ people aged 13-18. 

A peer support group for Care Leavers aged 16-25 with a focus on completing research into how mental health services could be improved.

A space for young people aged 13-25 to get together and explore different ways of expressing themselves, through movement. 

18-24 This group is designed to help young people who have long standing difficulties with their feelings and relationships.

Get involved in social action projects and changes important to you!

The Peer Ambassadors are a group for young people aged 13 to 25 to advocate for youth voice and make positive change.
