Here are some things about 42nd Street that might help you decide if we are the right service for you:
- All our services to young people are free
- We offer a confidential service – we won’t pass on information about you to anyone else unless you or someone else is at risk of serious harm
- We will try and give you a choice of seeing a male or female worker
- We will try and meet you somewhere you feel safe and can get to
- Whether you are black, white, gay , straight, disabled, non-disabled, male, non-binary, gender fluid or female you are welcome to come to 42nd Street
- We will treat you with respect
- We will give you a say in the service

What happens next?
Once we have your form, we’ll make sure we have all of the information we need to get you the right support. We’ll then arrange with you a good time to call you on the phone you if you’ve said it’s OK to do that. During that call, which might last for up to an hour, we’ll be able to talk together about how best to get you the support that you need as quickly as possible. We can answer any questions you might have about 42nd Street too.

You can join in most of our creative, group and social work programmes straight away to start with. Where you can meet other young people who may have similar interests and support needs to you. There’s no pressure, but meeting new people and getting involved in a group or project can be really helpful whilst you’re waiting for our support to begin.
