Change Makers at 42

As a Change Maker at 42nd Street you will deliver exciting and dynamic social action projects and campaigns with other young people. The aim is to make changes to the current system and develop a culture of supportive and reflective mental health services for young people across Greater Manchester.

You will engage in an initial 3-day training program which will skill you up to interpret the political landscape, develop skills in leading group work and understand how the current mental health system impacts on young people’s wellbeing and recovery.

After the training, with your fellow peer activists you will be supported to create sessions and activities that will engage young people aged 11-18 in the local community. The sessions will empower the young people to have a voice and campaign for their rights in relation to their mental health.

The changemakers opportunity is now closed to new referrals, but watch this space for future activities.

Get involved and find out what's on for all our groups and activities.
