Organisations of Hope

Organisations of Hope aims to unite a multidisciplinary team with diverse research methods to collaborate with Greater Manchester's creative health organisations and communities. They will conduct workshops and conversations to identify actions and assets necessary to amplify creative health voices within the city region's Integrated Care System (ICS).
The project's ultimate goal is to establish a diverse coalition comprising community representatives, cultural organisations, charities, and local government to leverage community assets for improved health, well-being, and equity. This effort will include various project strands such as asset mapping, addressing health inequalities, and scoping community asset hubs for different age groups, with a focus on outcomes and dissemination.
Mahdiyyah Ahmed part of our Creative Collective who also took part in our The Future Is Ours Festival in 2023, was commissioned to work on the Creative Asset Mapping project and visited various creative hubs across Greater Manchester. Mahdiyyah explored each location, the space and what it had to offer transforming each location into a painting which were later combined together to form a Creative Asset Map.
