Jet42
Jet 42 is a weekly peer support group for young Black and mixed-race men aged 16-25 to explore and improve their mental health and emotional wellbeing. Delivered by Eric Thompson and Reece Williams, 42nd Street’s Black male practitioners, it is a safe space for participants to share their feelings, improve their mood and develop healthy coping mechanisms for their mental health in a supportive, friendly and non-judgmental environment. Jet 42 does this through discussions and creative activities such as cookery and film. The group also empowers those who take part to develop their confidence and skills in public speaking and advocating for Black people access support services.
The workshops take place every Thursday from 6pm-8pm, via Microsoft Teams. If you would like to register your interest in attending the group or have any questions, please email Reece at Reece.Williams@42ndstreet.org.uk.
